Intended use

Airfield Emergency Arresters are designed to capture and decelerate modern aircraft, rolling off the runway in emergency situations like aborted take-off or landing. Airfield emergency arresters are easy to use, reliable in operation and simple in assembly and disassembly.

The equipment does not require special training or highly qualified specialists for maintenance and operation and can be installed and operated at the regular and alternate aerodromes, including soft fields, as well as on the roads.

Product reliability is confirmed by the State, routine tests and reliability tests held at Russian Air Force organizations.

Arresters are highly reliable and can be operated in a wide range of humidity, temperature and pressure environment:

  • field elevation - from 0 to 3500 m;
  • temperature range - from -50 to + 60°С;
  • relative humidity – up to 100% at a temperature of +45°С;
  • horizontal visibility - not less than 150 m in the automatic mode, and at any visibility in the manual mode

Equipping airfields with the arresting gears significantly improves safety, ensures psychological stability of the aircrews, prevents the negative effects of flight accidents in emergency situations (aborted take-off or landing).
